We understand that life happens, but please keep in mind that organizing a race involves significant upfront costs and logistical commitments. Our policy is designed to keep our events sustainable while offering flexibility where possible.
General Policy
No Cash Refunds: We typically do not offer cash refunds for race entries under any circumstances.
Standard Deferrals: If you are unable to attend, you may request a deferral credit provided the request is made at least 8 weeks prior to the event date.
Deferral credits are valid for 365 days from the original event date.
Late Requests: Within 2 weeks of the event, no refunds or deferral credits will be issued.
Note: Minor injuries, lack of training, or scheduling conflicts do not qualify for exceptions.
Cancellations & Force Majeure
If a race is canceled or postponed due to weather, park closures, government mandates, or "Acts of God" (unforeseen circumstances beyond our control), refunds will not be issued.
In these instances, every effort will be made to reschedule the event or provide an accommodating alternative for participants.
Special Exceptions
We offer specific accommodations for the following circumstances:
Military Service: If you are active-duty military and receive deployment orders that conflict with race day, please contact us. We are happy to work with you to find a solution.
Pregnancy & Postpartum: If you become pregnant or have recently given birth, we offer a flexible credit. You may choose between:
A full entry credit for the original race distance.
The equivalent dollar value to be used for multiple shorter distances or to invite a friend to join you.
Validity: Pregnancy-related credits are valid for 3 years from the original race date.
